Dr. Achina Stein is an osteopathic physician and has been in practice as a board-certified psychiatrist for over 25 years. She is well trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and CBT and does psychotherapy with patients that have trauma. Dr. Stein is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and awarded the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award by NAMI RI in 2008. She has lived in RI since 2000 with her husband and has three adult children. She is presently in private practice in RI and co-owner of Functional Mind, LLC. This is an exciting time for her, as she recently launched her online health coaching program, HealthySelf Bootcamp, LLC to assist people with chronic illnesses to reach their health goals from a distance.
